POKHARA: Tops HS School won the team championship of the 15th PABSON Sports Meet here on Sunday. On final day, Fishtail Academy’s Prasiddha Ranabhat won boys’ 400m leaving behind Saugat Ghimire of Global and Akasha Rana of Tops, while Ex-Army School’s Kushum Poudel claimed girls’ section gold finishing ahead of Tops’ Reshma Tiwari and Sreejata Shrestha of Gurukul. Riverdale’s Dipendra Karki won boys’ triple jump. Fishtail won girls’ 4X100 relay race, while Bethani and Srijana finished second and third respectively. In boys’ category, Srijana, Bethani and Pragati bagged top three positions respectively. In boys’ football final, Hile Point beat Snow View 2-1 riding on a brace from Rahul Gurung. Ankit Shrestha scored the consolation goal for Snow View. In boys’ volleyball final, Nilgiri beat Golden Future 25-15, 25-21. Srijana School won gold medal in table tennis, while Motherland came second. A total of 6,000 players from 80 schools competed in the event that kicked off on November 29.
