MONTPELLIER: French triathlete Laurent Vidal has died at the age of 31 after suffering a heart attack at his home near Montpellier. Vidal, who was fifth at the London Olympics in 2012, had retired from the sport last year after suffering a cardiopulmonary arrest during a swimming training session. Vidal was a three-time French national champion in 2009, 2011 and 2012.
