Tribhuban Club beat Bishal Nagar Yuba Club by 57-53 to reach the final of the third National Basketball Association (NBA) Mens’ Basketball Championship in the Thursday’s game.

Tribhuban Club took the lead at the end of the first quarter by 13-10 but BNYC came back strongly by the end of second quarter to tie at 25 each. Ajaya Manandhar and Tashi Tshering for BNYC led their team in the third quarter by 38-36.

Till the last seven minutes of the fourth quarter BNYC was leading the game with 48-38. Indra Shrestha helped his team lead by 48-45 before there was a tie of 48 each. After Ajaya Manandhar was sent out for fouls, Tribhuban Club dominated the game and succeeded in making 57 in the last minutes. Indra Shrestha for Tribhuban made 16 vital points for his team to lead the game, whereas Tashi Tshering of BNYC top scored with 17 points.
