KATHMANDU: Trinity registered a 100 per cent winning record in the men’s section of the Fr Donnelly 3 on 3 Men’s and Women’s Basketball Tournament here today.

All three Trinity teams — A, B and C — won. Trinity ‘A’ beat Malpi Institute 21-15, 21-5, Team ‘B’ edged past MIT 21-0, 21-0 and Team ‘C’ overcame Like Mike Hoops 21-17, 21-11. All three Golden Gate men’s teams — AB, A and B — also won but both their teams — A and B — lost in the women’s section.

In the men’s section Golden Gate ‘AB’ crushed Prime Sports Club ‘B’ 21-4, 21-10, Team ‘A’ hammered Revolver 21-5, 21-7 and Team ‘B’ edged past Supernova 21-11, 21-11 in men’s section. In other men’s section matches, Prime ‘A’ laboured to a 25-21, 21-13 win over Himalayan White House and Rato Bangala beat Almost 21-7, 21-7.

In the girls’ section matches, Prime eased to a comfortable 21-15, 21-7 win over Golden Gate ‘A’, hosts Godavari Alumni Association (GAA) defeated Golden Gate ‘B’ 21-16, 21-13, Trungram International Academy thrashed Ace Flyers 21-3, 21-4 and B Square got the better of the hosts ‘C’ team 21-2, 21-2.
