Weather not supporting Lifan bikers

Chinese Lifan Motorcycle Himalayan Expedition-2002 has been forced to change its schedule due to the bad weather of past three days”, said the manager of the expedition Dharma Expedition from the expedition venue, Na, Dolakha.

According to the slightly changed new schedule, Chinese Lifan bikers Sun Xue and Luo Hong Tao will stay there until the weather will be favourable, states a press release issued by the organisers here on Friday.

According to the organisers, the Lifan motorcyclists will stay two more days at Na and continue the expedition through Tsho Rolpa, Tashiphuk and then finally summit the Parchamo Peak.

The main objective of this campaign is to set a new world record on taking their motorcycle at 6,187-meter high Parchamo Peak, which falls on the Rolwaling himalayan range.

World famous Chinese motorcycle manufacturing company Lifan has organised this campaign in Nepal to promote adventure tourism, as well as its brand publicity.
