KATHMANDU: Each member of the Nepal's national women cricket team would be awarded with Rs 25,000 cash prize for finishing second in the recently held ICC Women's World Cup Qualifier Asia Region in Hong Kong. The team had also secured their berth in the Asia Cup Cricket. Minister for Youth and Sports Daljit Shreepaili made the announcement for the athletes while congratulating them for their feat, during a programme here on Wednesday. Minister Shreepali also pledged to reward more accolades for the cricketers if they perform their best in the ICC Asia Cup Cricket. Although the Nepali squad could not qualify for the World Cup, they been selected for the Asia Cup Cricket. Of the total six matches played by Nepal in the qualifiers, Nepal had won three matches.
