KATHMANDU: Dhorpatan Sports Training Club is organising the fourth Dhorpatan Blue Sky Cup Women’s Double League Volleyball Tournament from December 17-26 in Kathmandu. A total of eight teams — Gyanubaba HS School, Fishtail Air, Nepal Police Club, New Diamond Academy, PLA Sports Club, Angel’s Heart School, Tops HS School and Far-Western Volleyball Team — will take part in the championship, said Manbir Chhantyal, president of the Club, at a press meet on Monday. Out of the total prize money of Rs 237,000, the top three teams will receive Rs 100,000, Rs 50,000 and Rs 30,000 respectively. The organisers have formed main organising committee under Kiran Ghale and eight various sub-committees. The estimated budget of the event is more than two million rupees.
