KATHMANDU: Dhorpatan Sports Training Club is organising the11th Dhorpatan Blue Sky Cup Women’s Double League Volleyball Tournament from December 19.

A total of 12 teams will participate in the tournament which will be played over two rounds, informed the organisers at a press meet on Tuesday. Top three teams will receive Rs 260,000, Rs 130,000 and Rs 70,000 respectively.

The best player of the tournament, player of the series, emerging player and player of the year will be awarded with Mahindra scooter each, said Manbir Chhantyal, President of Dhorpatan Sports Training Club.

Apart from that, the best eight individuals — spiker, blocker, defender, libero, server, coach and manager — will get Rs 5,000 each.
