KATHMANDU: A brick kiln worker, who was hit by a mini truck, succumbed to injuries while undergoing treatment at Bhaktapur Hospital on Saturday.

The deceased has been identified as Lali Pun (35) of Kohalpur- 9 Banke.

She was hit by a mini truck ( Ba 4 Kha 6521) early today at the Saraswoti Brick Kiln located in Changunarayan- 1 , Bhaktapur.

The truck had hit her when it was about to reverse after loading bricks.

She was rushed to the hospital, where she breathed her last, police said.

The driver of mini truck, Sina Ram Shrestha (37) of Sathighar -9 in Kavre, has been detained by the police.
