LALITPUR: Central Region won the men’s team event title of the 10th National Squash Tournament under the NSC Championship here at the Satdobato Squash Complex on Tuesday.
In the final match, Central defeated Western 2-0. Central’s Chhiri Lama beat Western’s Mitra Lal Gurung 11-6, 11-3, 11-6, while his teammate Arahant Keshar Singh saw off Western’s Amrit Thapa Magar 11-7, 12-10, 11-8 to seal the victory. The singles events will be played from Wednesday.
