Vishowjyoti Mall is the newest mall that had its soft launch on September 29 and is spread around two-and-a-half ropanis of land and is managed by Ram Thakur Mall Pvt Ltd. About the mall, Hira Mani Timalsina, Marketing Head of Vishowjyoti Mall explained, “The land was just a parking area and had nothing much. And as the Vishowjyoti Hall is also located adjacent, the owners chose the name Vishowjyoti Mall as everybody knows the name Vishowjyoti.”

The Mall is divided into five floors and up to the third floor the stores are fully furnished and are operated well — grocery store, ready-made wears for men and women, shoe stores, trinkets store, boutiques, accessories store, eye clinic, beauty parlour, coffee shop, restaurant and more. On the fourth and fifth floors, some work is still needed for completion and according to Timalsina, the fourth floor will have a Sasto Bazar — a fixed price bazaar, children’s game zone, cinema hall. A restaurant and few of the stores of Sasto Bazar are already operational. He added, “We will do a grand opening in January 2017 and the mall will give full fledged service from then onwards.”

About the collection Padmini Jha, Mrs Nepal 2016 and co-owner of the store shares, “We have sari, kurta-salwar, lehenga, bridal collection, gowns and more for women, while we have sherwani, shirting-suiting and more for men.
