BUENOS AIRES: New Argentine President Mauricio Macri has cracked a rib and his office says he'll be forced to rest at home for a few days.

The presidency says Macri fell while playing with his daughter on Friday at one of his homes outside the capital.

The 56-year-old president took office on December 10.
