At least 3 dead in Kabul blast

KABUL: At least three people were killed in an explosion that rocked the Afghan capital Kabul on Thursday, said an AFP photographer who saw the bodies.

The blast, which took place in central Kabul around 8:30 am (0400 GMT), has left a massive crater in the middle of the road, which is scattered with body parts and debris.

A police officer at the scene told AFP: "I saw one police officer killed and more than eight or nine people wounded."
