The price of yellow metal in the domestic market has risen by Rs 2,000 per tola today, reaching Rs 101,900.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, gold, which was being traded at Rs 99,900 per tola on Friday, has now surpassed the Rs 100,000 mark.

Similarly, tejabi gold is currently trading at Rs 101,400 per tola, up from Rs 99,400 per tola as registered on Friday.

Likewiser, the silver is being traded at Rs 1,415 per tola today, indicating an increase of Rs 35 per tola.

The price of gold bullion in the country has risen in response to the price increase in the global market.

With Russia's invasion of Ukraine, the price of precious metals has soared.

Gold is currently trading at $1,966.60 per ounce on the international market.
