WASHINGTON: US warplanes have attacked an Islamic State training camp and a “high-value” target in Libya, a US official said on Friday. The strikes occurred overnight Thursday-Friday, the official told AFP. Libyan officials said a dawn raid killed more than 40 people in Sabratha outside of Tripoli. US official could not immediately confirm the number of fatalities.
