KATHMANDU, SEPTEMBER 14

The national active Covid-19 caseload of Nepal active caseload has reached to 2,191 on Wednesday as 89 people tested positive for the infection in past 24 hours.

The latest reported number of infections carried the nationwide tally to 999,046 while the death toll remains at 12,015 as no fatality was recorded today.

Meanwhile, the total coronavirus recoveries stand at 984,840 with 130 discharges logged today.

As per the latest data provided by the health ministry, a total of 4,084 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours of which 1,955 were PCR tests while 2,129 were antigen tests.

With this, a total of 5,914,224 PCR tests have been carried out till date.

Similarly, antigen tests confirmed 30 positive cases in the past 24 hours. Nepal's Covid-19 recovery rate stands at 98.6%, while the fatality rate stands at 1.2%.

Currently, there are no individuals in any quarantine facilities across Nepal.
