Pak, India to keep talking

Islamabad, June 3:
The foreign ministers of Pakistan and India today spoke “very warmly and optimistically” about the prospects for peace between the nuclear-armed rivals after five decades of hostility, a Pakistani government statement said. After a public exchange earlier this week, in which Pakistan’s foreign minister Khurshid Kasuri criticised his counterpart Natwar Singh for making comments on bilateral relations in the Indian press, the two agreed in a telephone conversation to “remain in close touch.”
