Sixth Kashmir bus rolls out

Srinagar, June 16:

The sixth bus bound for Pakistani Kashmir rolled from here today amid tight security, carrying 15 passengers to the Kaman bridge on the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir.

Christened Karwan-e-Aman (Caravan of Peace), the Srinagar-Muzaffarabad bus left at 7 am from the Bemina yards of the State Road Transport Corporation on the outskirts of the city. “There are 15 passengers going to Muzaffarabad today out of whom 14 are returning after meeting their relatives in Kashmir and a local is going to Muzaffarabad to join members of his family there,” a police officer said.
