China mishaps kill 27

20 Taliban men killed

KABUL: More than 20 suspected Taliban insurgents — including five foreigners — were killed in recent clashes with Afghan and US-led coalition forces in Afghanistan, a defence ministry spokesman Gen Mohammed Zaher Azimi said on Sunday. Also, four US soldiers were wounded when their vehicle ran over an explosive device in Afghanistan. — AP
