Thai police websites hacked by group demanding justice

BANGKOK: Hackers have taken over several police websites in Thailand, replacing the home pages with a message saying, "Failed Law. We want Justice!"

The online attack took place late Monday. Several police websites were either offline or still displayed the message demanding justice Tuesday evening.

Home pages were replaced with a black screen that showed a white mask and blanked-out eyes and the hashtag #Boycott Thailand.

A police spokesman said authorities were investigating the hack, which targeted websites of regional police forces across the country and a variety of police agencies.
