KATHMANDU: As many as 10 Nepali cinema actors have joined the Nepali Congress party on Wednesday.

The party President Sher Bahadur Deuba welcomed them to the party during a function at his private residence in Budhanilakantha this morning.

Those joining the largest political force in the Parliament today include Ramesh Budhathoki, Ram Keshar Bogati, Pushkar Lama, Pratiksha Khadka, Ranju Sunam, Rista Basnet, Namrata Yogi, Bipana Basnet, Yuvaraj Chaulagain and Purnam Rai.

Meanwhile, Deuba also distributed certificates of party's general membership to the new entrants today.
