CA meet put off for Sunday

KATHMANDU: The Constituent Assembly (CA) meeting has again been rescheduled.

According to the CA Secretariat Assistant Spokesperson Sudarshan Kuinkel, the meeting will take place at 1 pm on Sunday.

Meanwhile, the four parties reportedly reached an agreement on demarcation of six Pradeshes.

CA meet put off for 2 hours again as leaders seek more time

KATHMANDU: The Constituent Assembly (CA) meeting rescheduled for 6 pm from 3 pm today has once again been deferred.

According to the new schedule, the meeting shall take place at 8 pm today.

The CA Secretariat said the meeting was deferred in consultation with top leaders of major parties.

Meanwhile, top leaders of Nepali Congress, CPN-UML, UCPN-Maoist and Madhesi Janaadhikar Forum-Democratic resumed talks with a hope to iron out their differences on demarcation of federal units.

Of late, the parties have agreed to divide the nation into six Pradeshes, but are at odds over how to delineate them.
