KATHMANDU: The Constituent Assembly Secretariat has completed preparations for the special ceremony to be organised to promulgate the Constitution of Nepal, 2072.

President Ram Baran Yadav will announce commencement of the Constitution at the function scheduled for 5 pm on Sunday.

The Secretariat has made preparations to celebrate the meeting as the national ceremony.

Earlier, CA Chairman Subas Chandra Nembang had authenticated the statute on Friday.

Spokesperson at the Secretariat Bharat Raj Gautam said that President Yadav would issue the new constitution after signing on page number 350 of the Constitution printed on the Nepali paper.

The Secretariat has completed all arrangements including cleanliness and decoration while the security system would be tightened for the same.

Ministers, chiefs and office-bearers of the constitutional bodies, former lawmakers, high-ranking officials of the government, chiefs and representatives of the diplomatic missions in Nepal, among others have been invited to the function.
