Elderly murdered in Bouddha

KATHMANDU: An unidentified gang on Thursday murdered an elderly man with a khukuri at Tushal, Bouddha in KMC-6.

Police said the incident occurred when the victim Chosang Lama (64) of Garana-9, Solukhumbu district was alone in his rented room.

His body was spotted by his wife lying on the floor and she informed the police about the incident.

Police said a manhunt is on to nab the suspects.

Man found dead

Similarly, the body of an unidentified man has been found near the Bagmati bridge in Bhimsengola.

Police said the man in his mid-40s used to live under the bridge and was known as Mijar.

Though his address is identified as Methinkot, Bhakundebesi of Kavre district, his identity is yet to be ascertained.
