KATHMANDU, MAY 17
Two Gurung brothers from Bhotkhola Rural Municipality-4 in Sankhuwasabha have successfully scaled the world's highest peak, Mt Everest.
Elder brother Ashish Gurung reached the summit at 4:38 am today, followed by his younger brother Sujan Gurung, who reached the peak at 7:35 am.
This is not the first time the Gurung brothers have conquered Everest.
Ashish, an International Federation of Mountain Guides Association (IFMGA) guide, has now summited Everest four times.
Sujan, an aspiring mountain guide, achieved his second summit of Everest this year.
Their expedition this year was organized by TAG Nepal Treks.
