KATHMANDU: Goods worth AROUND Rs 1.5 million were destroyed when a fire broke inside a godown of Ekata Marketing at Chabahil, KMC-7 on Thursday.

According to Tara Lamichhane, the owner, an electronic short circuit sparked the fire and burnt food products worth more than Rs 1.5 million.

Police took the fire under control with the help of locals and fire engine.
