House postponed again, to meet Thursday

KATHMANDU: The House meeting called for Wednesday was postponed after the major political parties failed to forge an agreement regarding whether to begin discussions on the Constitution amendment bill.

The meeting now shall take place at 3 pm on Thursday, according to the Parliament Secretariat.

Earlier, Speaker Onsari Gharti had called the Business Advisory Committee meeting to decide agendas for the House meeting today. But, the meeting failed to make any decision as the main opposition party CPN-UML remained adamant that the there should not be any discussion on the bill.
