KATHMANDU: The Rastriya Prajatantra Party-Nepal, led by Kamal Thapa, on Thursday decided to study the impeachment motion against Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) Chief Lok Man Singh Karki before forming its official view on it.

"The proposal on such very serious and sensitive issue should have been filed after sufficient discussions among political parties," the party spokesperson Rajaram Shrestha said in a statement, "But, no any consultation has been held with the RPP-Nepal before filing the motion."

"Therefore," the short statement concluded, "The RPP-Nepal will decide its official opinion only after a detail study of the proposal."
