KATHMANDU: A woman was injured after a microbus hit a scooter she was riding on in Bansbari of Kathmandu district on Tuesday evening.

The injured has been identified as Sunita Hamal (37), a local resident.

The microbus (Ba 2 Kha 1909) hit the scooter (Ba 56 Pa 2769) at around 8 pm, police said.

Hamal is being treated at the Maharajgunj-based Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital.

Police said that they have impounded the microbus and arrested its driver for investigation.
