BHADRAPUR: The Jhapa District Police Office today made public a suspect who had allegedly raped an 11-year-old girl.

Identified as Raj Kumar Rajbanshi, a permanent resident of Jhapa, the suspect had fled after preying on the minor in Budhabare on July 19.

According to police, Rajbanshi was involved in other criminal activities also.

A special team deployed from the Jhapa DPO had nabbed the suspect from Bhimdutta Municipality-11, Kanchanpur on Tuesday and brought to Jhapa.
