ACHHAM: A woman was been arrested on the charge of mariticide or murdering her husband on Sunday.

Dhanadevi Saud, a resident of Tali in Malatikot VDC-5 in the district, was arrested after her 36-year-old husband Lal Bahadur Saud was found dead in the kitchen with severe head wound.

Saud was hit with an axe, most probably by his wife, informed the police.

Necessary investigation into the incident of murder is underway, head of Achham Police DSP Dilip Singh Deuba said.
