NUWAKOT: The Mero Microfinance Financial Institution having its central office at Battar in Nuwakot district has provided corrugated roofing sheets to five of the schools in the district that were damaged by the April 25 earthquake.

The company on Saturday distributed 80 bundles of corrugated sheets to the schools where its customers’ children are studying with the support from the Citizens Bank International.

Chief Executive Officer of Mero Microfinance Ramhari Dahal handed over the sheets to the representatives of Sundara Higher Secondary School at Satbise, Batuk Bhairav Primary School at Keurini in Bidur, Sundari Kyeurini Higher Secondary School at Gerkhutar, Kalyanidevi Higher Secondary School at Jiling and Shankhadevi Higher Secondary School at Gorsyang.
