Identity of 18 killed in Ramche bus accident confirmed
DHUNCHE: Police have confirmed the identity of 18 among 35 persons who died in a bus accident at Ramche VDC-3 along the Pasang Lhamu road section on Tuesday afternoon.
According to Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Abadesh Bista, the deceased have been identified as Buddhi Bahadur Tamang (34) and Risang Tamang (45) of Haku-8; Bishnu Prasad Ghimire (23) of Gerkhu-8; Pasang Tshering Tamang (19) of Chilime-6; Subas Karma Lama (28) of Shramthali-8 and Batuli Tamang (55) of Ghorle-7 in Rasuwa district.
Likewise, Sommaya Thing, Shantimaya Thing (55) and Lalkaji Tamang (22) of Vorle-4; Charimaya Lho (44) Indira Tamang (26) and Dinesh Moktan (19) of Dhaibung-9; Mengdo Sangmu (38) and Chhewang Ghale (23) of Goljung-3; Lhyakpa Tamang (40) of Chilime-2 and Lhyakpa Chhomo Tamang of Chilime-1 in Rasuwa district also died in the accident.

Bhuminanda Rijal ‘Ramji’ (28) of Charghare-5 and Durga Prasad Bhatta (29) of Charghare-4 in Nuwakot district were also killed in the accident.
The accident took place when a bus (Na 3 Kha 5706) heading towards Chilime of Rasuwa from Kathmandu fell some 500 meters down the road at 1:00 pm yesterday, said police.
More than 100 passengers were travelling in the bus. The incident site is 12 kilometers away from Dhunche, the district headquarters.
The passengers who sustained serious injuries are receiving treatment in Kathmandu and the District Hospital, Dhunche.
