RAMECHHAP: Rastriya Prajatantra Party-Democratic candidate for the parliament Lal Bahadur Ghising  from the district and two other provincial assembly candidates from RPP-D Dip Bahadur Tamang and Ram Kumar Thapa withdrew their candidacies pledging to support the Nepali Congress-led democratic alliance.

Also, an independent provincial assembly candidate Pemba Dorje Tamang withdrew his candidacy in the district.
