BANEPA: Two youth were booked for their alleged involvement in a rape case in Kavrepalanchok on Sunday.

Saroj Raut (28) of Suryabinayak Municipality-11, Bhaktapur and Sabin Giri (24) of Saping VDC in Kavrepalanchok district were arrested on Saturday following a complaint lodged by the victim’s family.

Both Raut and Giri were presented before the Kavrepalanchok District Court on Sunday.

According to DSP Nabin Raj Rai of the Kavrepalanchok District Police Office, the victim was suffering from mental instability.
