Global IME to support volleyball tournament

Kathmandu, April 24

Global IME’s Chief Executive Officer Janak  Sharma Paudel and Foundation’s patron Gamali Khadka exchanged the  Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at a programme today. As per the agreement, Global IME will provide the Foundation with Rs 200,000 under its social corporate responsibilities.

“We are supporting the tournament with the aim of empowering women through sports. And this support is under our CSR initiative,” said Paudel.

The  tournament will feature six teams — three departmental sides in Tribhuvan  Army Club, Nepal Police Club and Nepal APF Club along with Shivam New  Diamond Academy, Western Region and Jawalakhel Volleyball Tra

ining  Centre.

Top three teams will receive Rs 150,000, Rs 100,000 and  Rs 50,000 respectively, while player of the series will earn Rs  10,000 and seven best individuals earn Rs 5,000 each.
