KATHMANDU, AUGUST 7

An Air Dynasty helicopter has crashed in the Shivpuri area of Nuwakot, today afternoon.

The helicopter had departed from Kathmandu and was en route to Syaphrubensi when the crash took place, according to a source at the Tribhuvan International Airport. There were five individuals in the heli including four Chinese nationals flying to Rasuwa.

It has been learnt that the chopper was piloted by senior captain Arun Malla.

The chopper lost contact just three minutes after the take off at the TIA.
