The summit route on Mt. Ama Dablam (6,812m) has officially opened for climbers after a seven-member fixing team from the Expedition Operators Association (EOA) successfully reached the summit on Sunday afternoon.

According to EOA Fixing Coordinator Dawa Sherpa Lama, the team topped out at 12:50 PM, completing route preparations for the autumn climbing season.

With the route now ready, both commercial and independent climbers can proceed with their summit pushes under EOA coordination, ensuring safer and more organized ascents on the popular Himalayan peak.

This year's fixing team is led by veteran climber Nuru Wangchu Sherpa of Pangboche, who boasts over two decades of high-altitude experience, including multiple ascents of Everest, Lhotse, Cho Oyu, Shishapangma, Manaslu, and Makalu. His team members include Namgel Dorji Tamang, Lal Kumar Tamang, Pasang Tenji Sherpa, Ming Nuru Sherpa, and Guru Zenzen Sherpa.

Mt. Ama Dablam is one of Nepal's most iconic and technically challenging peaks.
