KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Sushil Koirala has said that he has taken the bilateral agreement between India and China regarding Lipulek border point seriously. Talking to a delegation under the leadership of Vice-Chairperson of the CPN-UML aligned Youth Federation Nepal and Coordinator of Movement for Political, Organisational and Ideological Change, Dilu Panta, Prime Minister Koirala today said that he would discuss the issue with the Foreign Affairs Minister and diplomatic missions. The delegation was there to submit a memorandum to PM Koirala regarding the Sino-Indian agreement. He said, “It is appropriate for the youth to raise voices against injustice meted out to the nationality. I have also taken the agreement with seriousness.' On the occasion, Panta said that the government should take diplomatic initiatives to get the agreement corrected. Panta also warned of launching stern agitation if the agreement was not corrected. The memo submitted by the Federation states that the agreement signed between India and China on May 15, 2015 will not be acceptable to them as it has challenged the sovereignty of Nepal. READ ALSO:
