LAMJUNG: A local man allegedly raped a 13-year-old girl of his neighbourhood in Sundar Bazaar Municipality of Lamjung last week, police said. Raju Darji (38) of Sundar Bazaar-1 was nabbed on charge of raping the minor on June 26, police said. Police Inspector Rajendra Adhikari said the man has already confessed the crime. A vendor of Bhoteodar area of the district had visited the victim's house and committed the rape, according to police. Adhikari claimed a medical test on the victim also confirmed that she was raped. The District Court has remanded Darji to custody for seven days for investigations.
