KATHMANDU: A 26-year-old woman was arrested from the Capital for allegedly taking away gold jewelleries from her neighbours under various pretexts. Ambika Magar (26) from Tinkanya VDC-9 of Sindhuli district was arrested on Saturday. The woman had borrowed gold ornaments from two neighbours – Mina Suwal and Subita Tharu – on June 21, claiming she had to attend a wedding party. But, the woman shifted to the other place without letting the neighbours know that, police said. Police also confiscated a gold earring from her. The suspect has been sent to Metropolitan Police Circle, Jagati, for further investigations and actions.
