KATHMANDU, July 13 Prithu Baskota inspired Upchurch Cricket Club to a six-wicket victory over Gravesend Cricket Club in their Kent Cricket League match at Upchurch Cricket grounds in Kent today. Baskota’s team, Upchurch opted to bowl first and restricted Gravesend for 260-8 in 50 overs before they raced to 265-4 in 48.1 overs. Baskota claimed 2-67, while Luke Merry and Lee Taylor took two wickets each for Upchurch. Charley Nash top scored for Gravesend with 116 off 150 that included 16 fours. Upchurch had a disastrous start losing two wickets with just three runs on the board. Baskota took charge and added 79 runs for the third wicket with Michael Hales Junior, before he was involved in the match-winning 133-run stand with Rory Macinnes for fourth wicket. Baskota remained unbeaten on 146 off 125 balls that included 19 boundaries and three sixes, while Macinnes struck eight fours in his 82-ball 59.
