KATHMANDU: A light tremor was recorded in Sindhupalchok district at 9:21 am on Tuesday morning, the National Seismological Centre said. The aftershock of the April 25 earthaquake was of local magnitude 4.1 A 4.2-magnitude aftershock was recorded at 6:23 pm yesterday. Two light tremors were recorded on Sunday morning. The coordinates 27.80°N, 85.75°E, provided by the NSC, show that the epicentre was close to Batase, southeast of district headquarters Chautara. With this, as many as 359 aftershocks have followed the devastating earthquake of local magntidue 7.6, according to the NSC records.
