DAMAULI: Two youth have been released on the condition of repairing the damaged railing of the wooden bridge, which they had broken, in Byas Municipality of Tanahun district. The bridge connects Jamune VDC-9 with Byas Municipality-6 of the district. Khom Bahadur Thapa and Mangal Pariyar of Jamune had dismantled the side railing of the wooden bridge few days earlier under the influence of alcohol. Locals had taken them under control and handed over to the Temporary Police Post in Tharpu in the district. But, police handed over the duo to their parents under the condition of repairing the bridge within November 10. The 17-metre long bridge was constructed with an investment of Rs 400,000.
