KATHMANDU: A 60-year-old man was trampled to death by a wild elephant in Dhanusha district, bordering Sindhuli district. Police identified the victim as Amarlal Adhikari Danuwar, a permanent resident of neighbouring Niyane-6, Sindhuli. Adhikari was returning home after shopping at a local market in Birendra Bazar on Monday evening. His body was found at Galchi, Ganeshman Charnath Municipality of Dhanusha, police said.
