Kathmandu, December 29 A three-member probe panel headed by Narahari Acharya of Nepali Congress handed over its revised report on the dispute over active membership of the party to party President Sushil Koirala yesterday. “The panel submitted the report with my reservations on the dispute over issuing active membership in Kailali, Solukhumbu and Rauthat-4. I have suggested that the party accept new active members of Kailali and to accept only active members of Solukhumbu and Rautahat-4 who participated in the 17th National General Convention,” said panel member Ram Krishna Yadav. The panel had submitted its report in the presence of senior leader Sher Bahadur Deuba and other leaders of the party at the residence of party President Koirala yesterday evening, according to him. With submission of the report, the way has been cleared to hold local level conventions of the party at the scheduled dates, Yadav said.
