Maoists’ move flayed
Kathmandu: The HimRights Lifeline has condemned the Maoists’ move of announcing death sentences on unarmed individuals in the far western region as reported in the media. Following the announcement, the individuals concerned have been displaced from their homes. It also urged the parties concerned to free the abductees and detainees. — HNS

Crown Prince’s trip
KATHMANDU: Crown Prince Paras will leave for Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, on Wednesday to express condolences on behalf of the King on the demise of King Fahd bin Abdul Aziz al-Saud. King Gyanendra also condoled King Fahd’s death. — RSS
