KATHMANDU: Nepal Democratic Lawyers Association on Tuesday announced its candidates for the upcoming election of Nepal Bar Association scheduled for April 2. Organising a press conference, NDLA announced candidacy of Sher Bahadur KC for the post of NBA president. NDLA has decided to field Madan Kumar Khadka, Binay Singh, Moti Raj Gautam, Ghanashyam Panta, Rewati Raman Bhattarai, Ganga Ram Padhya and Shanta Sedhai Sapkota for the post of vice-presidents. Similarly, it has fielded Khamba Bahadur Khati for the post of general secretary and Gyan Ratna Shakya for the post of treasurer. Addressing the press meet, Sher Bahadur KC said he would fight for dignity and professional development of lawyers and independent judiciary if he is elected NBA president.
