KATHMANDU: Police said they arrested a cooking gas trader for his alleged involvement in black marketing, from Koteshwor of Kathmandu. Madhav Prasad Ghimire (36), operator of Amisa Gas Depot at Setiopi Marga in Koreshwor, KMC-35, was arrested by a team deployed from the Metropolitan Police Crime Division today. Police confiscated 50 cylinders of Everest gas from his store. They claimed that he was selling a cylinder of gas for Rs 4,200, exactly three times the market price. Further investigation is underway.
