KATHMANDU: An observation tower has been built at Syarpur lake of Banphikot in Rukum with the aim of promoting tourism in the area. Nepali Army’s Devidal Battalion constructed the tower for a full 360 degree range vision of the lake with support from local residents and District Development Committee. The tower was constructed at an investment of around Rs 500,000. A large number of tourists, both domestic and foreign, throng the area to enjoy its natural beauty.
